Open Residency at EiMa.
Synopsis

"Perdre el Cap" is a project of research, experimentation, and choreographic creation that revolves around the reflection on the acrobat as a historical circus figure that represented a paradigm shift in the way we understand the relationship with space. It transcended conventional movements to explore the impossible, breaking away from verticality (the natural form of the human species) and defying gravity. From an aesthetic perspective, drawing from the concept of "estetització del escalofrío" (aestheticization of shivering, inspired by Francine Fourmeaux), we will explore our gravitational identity. Thus, "Perdre el Cap" is an exploration of our origins, the ancestral, that which pulls us inward into the earth and gives us the strength to rise. It is like a mane inhabited by a mythological being, a symbiosis of animality and sensuality. This project is a collaborative effort among various creators and technicians, built in layers, creating a multidimensional creation..
